Thomas Summitt Jr.

Thomas Summitt Jr., 73 years of age died Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Unit in Louisville. He was born January 14, 1940 in Louisville, KY to his late parents Thomas Sr. and Peggy Mauck Summitt. He retired from United Catalysts Inc. and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge, and the Optimus Club. Tom had a great love for music and singing and was a former member of the Tren-Dells. He was preceded in death by his wife MaryAnn Summitt, grandson John Sutter, and brother David Summitt.

Brother: Bill Summitt

Sisters: Chlora Shawver

Linda Testa (Dan)

Companion: Jeanette Stargel

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Clarksville with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Albany.
