Sylvia Lentz Eveslage

Sylvia Lentz Eveslage, 97, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Sylvia was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 21, 1925 to the late Jesse and Iona Lentz. She was a member of Floyds Knobs Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William J. Eveslage; a daughter, Anita Eveslage; and siblings, Mary Ellen Keller, Robert Lentz and Wanda Zimmerman.

Sylvia is survived by two children, Jan (Mark) Boylen and Bruce (Scott Haub) Eveslage; two grandchildren, Adrianne (Christian) Lant and Natalie (Andrew) Reuter; great grandchildren, Sylvie, AnnMarie and Lincoln Reuter; step great grandchildren, Madeline and Andrew Lant; a sister, Joyce (Bill) Norris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 20, 2023 and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 with private burial to follow in St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church Cemetery.
