Stephanie Elaine Pangburn McKnight, 51, died peacefully at home on Friday, February 26, 2021. Born on July 22, 1969, she was the only child of Kevin Pangburn and Carol Page. She enjoyed a career as Regional Director for MedData in Louisville, KY. She was a 1987 graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School in Clarksville Indiana and later received an Associate Degree from Jefferson Community College and attended the University Of Louisville, where she met, and later married, the love of her life, Jason McKnight.
Stephanie was a loving daughter, wonderful partner and wife, incredible mother, loyal friend and an unmatched human being. She was an accomplished chef and a passionate follower of Indiana University Basketball. Her edgy approach to life and her adept ability to find the good in others will be missed by all who knew her.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Katherine and Vernie Page, Tom Pangburn and Mary Ellen Kennedy; and father-in-law, John McKnight. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jason McKnight; her daughter, Isabella; mother Carol Page; father, Kevin Pangburn and wife, Mylea McFelea; mother-in-law, Clara McKnight; and step-siblings, Anthony and Lexi Sapp.
Charitable contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the Floyd County Indiana Animal Shelter.
