Stanley L. Burns

Stanley Lee Burns, 77 years of age died Thursday, April 5, 2012 after a courageous battle with a rare bone marrow disease. Stanley was born April 14, 1934 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Jesse and Rosetta Burns. He retired from General Electric after 39 years and will always be remembered for his love of his family and his fascination with cars and anything with a motor. He loved the Lord and has now been reunited in heaven with his wife of 53 years, Phyllis Sue Burns.

Survivors include is children, Marleen Landreth (Danny), Sandra Friesen (Bob), Mark Burns (Denise), and Danny Burns (Deanna); sisters, Doris Seitz and Audrey Senn; 9 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Tuesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana
