Robert Hugh Kreutzer

Robert Hugh Kreutzer, 93, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. Robert was born in Clarksville, Indiana on September 27, 1929, to the late Hugh R. and Mary Catherine Kreutzer. He was retired from General Electric and was a retired Colonel serving in the Indiana National Guard for over 37 years. He was a lifelong member of the Officer's Club at the New Albany Branch of the Indiana National Guard. He was a graduate of Indiana University Southeast.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Delores Kreutzer; a sister, Anna Rae Kreutzer Schwender; and a nephew, John Sandlewick.

Robert is survived by two children, Constance Marie Kreutzer and William Robert (Wanda) Kreutzer; grandchildren, DeAnna (Jason Lewis) Wiseman, Christopher Kreutzer, Michelle (Sterling) Jackson and Robert (Tara) Thomas; and great grandchildren, Anna Tomes, Maverick Thomas, Henley Jackson, Ellery Jackson, Mira Jackson, Everett Jackson and Preston LePointe.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday December 14, 2022, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the funeral home with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Floyd County Salvation Army. The family would like to express their love and appreciation to his caregivers, Megan Bruce, Judy Beck, Beth Munez, Lisa Clayton, Ashton Mozee, grand daughter-in-law, Tara Thomas and great-granddaughter, Anna Tomes.
