Rita M Tully

Rita M. Fein Tully, 91years of age died Monday March 11th, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. Rita was born February 27th, 1922 in New Albany, IN. to the late Henry and Cledith Fenger Fein. She was the second lady bankteller hired at the old Floyd County Bank in New Albany and was a devoted wife, mom, best friend and homemaker for the majority of her life.

Rita was the widow of Charles E. “Bud” Tully who died in 1988. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany and also attended St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville. She was preceded in death by an uncle John Beeler, aunt Alma Fenger Beeler and by two sister-in-laws Ida Mae Russell and Mary Cory.

Survivors include:

Children: Beverly “Bev” Tully and John Tully both of New Albany, IN

Cousin: Shirley Ann Beeler Batesville, IN

Nephew and Nieces: Walt Cory Jr., Sue Yingling, and Mary Pat Wilson of New Albany, IN

Her beloved cat: “Jill”

Reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday March 15th, at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s
