Richard Lee Renn Jr., 52 years of age died Sunday August 16, 2015. Richard was born February 13, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was employed as a welder with Rapid Industries in Louisville, KY. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, family and all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila R. (Whelan) Renn; sons, Josh Renn, Corey Renn; stepdaughter, Nicole VanMeter; stepson, Matthew VanMeter; step grandchildren, Logan and Casssidy VanMeter; sister, Bobbi Carlton; mother and stepfather, Helen and Larry Schroeder; brothers, Adam Renn (Stella), Tony Renn (Dawn), Rick Renn (Carrie); numerous nieces and nephews
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St. New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Thursday at the Kraft Spring St. Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will be at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
