Nancy Carol Jones, 74, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at her home in New Albany. The daughter of the late Beatrice and Charles Firkin, Carol was born June 14, 1944 in Edmonton, Kentucky. She worked at M. Fines and Sons in New Albany and at Meijer's of New Albany after her retirement. Her hobbies included sewing with her quilting circle, playing the slot machines, and gardening in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Miller; sister, Shirley Arnold; and brothers, Robert, Ernest, and Billy Firkin.
Survivors include her significant other, Ronald Mifflin; five children, Melissa Hollman, Tina Thomas, Patricia Voignier, Paul Miller Jr., and Tracy Miller; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Terrell; and brother, Roger Firkin.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, December 28, 2018, at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
