Nancy Lanham Johnson, 85, of New Albany, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born on April 5, 1934 in Westerville, Illinois to the late Dr. Richard H. Lanham and Fern Lichtenwalter Lanham. She was a secretary with Ft. LeBouf for over 20 years and retired in 1995 and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Louis Johnson whom she married on February 26, 1955.
She is survived by her children, Steven L. Johnson (Dona Johnson), Daniel L. Johnson (Lucy Johnson), David L. Johnson (Denise Johnson); seven grandchildren, Stefanie Brown, Nathan Johnson , Sara Johnson , Becky Chilcote, Beth Kilby, Paul Johnson, Jennifer Cowlishaw; eleven great-grand children and a brother, Richard H. Lanham DPM.
Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road.
A service to celebrate her life will be conducted Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with inurnment to be held at a later date beside her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
