Michael Earl Sheffield, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away February 3, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 2, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Raymond Earl and Mildred King Sheffield. He was a retired educator with the Jefferson County Public School System.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Sheffield.
Michael is survived by two children, Sondra (Marty) Williams and Tim (Stacey) Sheffield; eight grandchildren, Alexa, Hannah, Jamee, Bailey, Ryleigh, Nick, Bryce and Abagail; and a sister, Tricia McBeath.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 and from 9-12 on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral Service will be conducted at Noon on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the funeral home with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
