Michael Franklin Heavrin 52 years of age died Thursday June 1, 2017 in New Albany, Indiana. He was born July 3, 1964 in New Albany to the late William and Sharon Heavrin, and was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Mike Messer. Michael was an outdoorsman, hunter, avid fisherman, University of Kentucky fan and known as quite a jokester.
Survivors include his siblings, Robin Messer, and Cathy Nichols, both of Texas, Rick Heavrin, Teresa Heavrin (Rodney Roberts), and Stephen Heavrin (Tabitha Holland), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St. New Albany, Indiana. His Memorial Service will be 3:00 pm Monday in the funeral home chapel.
