Maxine J. Jackman Carroll

NEW ALBANY - Carroll, Maxine J. 83, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was a native of Orange County, IN and was formerly an employee at ICI America in Jeffersonville and retired from Rite-Aid in New Albany. Maxine was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. "Jimmy" Carroll; her son-in-law, Kevin Scott; her grandson, Kevin Scott Jr.; two brothers; and five sisters. Survivors include children, Terry L. Carroll (Cindy), Louisville, Eddie Carroll (Jennifer) Sellersburg, IN, David Carroll (Theresa) , Corydon, IN, Nancy Jamison (Dave) , New Albany, and Todd Carroll (Tracy), New Albany; sister, Margie Bauer , Ft. Pierce, FL; 13 grandchildren and 11great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany Her funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
