Mary Jane Kruer, 91 years of age, died Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Diversicare of Providence. She was born October 7, 1927 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late Joseph and Eleanora (Roberts) Kruer and was an 18 year resident of Providence. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, William, Wilfred, Robert, and Ronnie Kruer. Mary Jane was formerly employed by H. A. Seinsheimers, Karems Meats, and was a homemaker, helping to raise the family. She was a member of St. John Paul II St. Joe Campus and will be fondly remembered and missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her siblings, Jerry Kruer (Brenda), Roy Kruer (Kathleen), and Betty Koetter; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Kruer and Mary Judith Kruer; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 29, 2018, at St. John Paul II Catholic Church St. Joe Campus with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
