Martha Ann (Lenfert) Prow, 69, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of the late George and Alice (Croft) Lenfert, Martha was born December 14, 1948 in New Albany. She retired as a Deputy Clerk with the Floyd County Clerk’s Office after 20 years of service and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Martha was quite the homemaker. She loved to bake, sew, garden, and go bowling; but more importantly, she was a caregiver, mom, mamaw, and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Lenfert.
Survivors include her children, Michelle Renee Snyder (Chad Michael) and Shawn Michael Welsh; sisters, Madra Stemle (William) and Mary Alice Knott (Kevin); and grandchildren, Justin Welsh, Lillian Snyder, Jackson Snyder, and Cody Snyder.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
