Martha Asher Howard

Martha Asher Howard, 87 years of aged died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born September 26, 1925 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the late Matt and Nannie Asher. Martha was a retired employee of ICI Americas in Charlestown, Indiana and was a member of Sunnyside Assembly of God Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Howard; daughter, Brenda Kendle; brothers, Kenneth and Marcus Asher; sisters, Mollie Hensley and Edith Farmer.

Survivors include her daughter, Geraldine “Jeri” Scott (David) of New Albany, IN; son, Michael Howard (Lisa) of Jeffersonville, IN; sister, Rosie Muncy of Crothersville, IN; brother, Mason Asher of Louisville, KY; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
