Mark Quentin Smith

Mark Quentin Smith, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Hillcrest Village in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on November 28, 1948 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Elmer and Valeria Smith. Mark was a veteran of the United States Army, serving with the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville and retired from Dan Cristiani Excavating Company. Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his son, James Douglas Smith. Mark is survived his companion for the last 23 years, Pat Horn; daughter, Samantha Smith; bonus family, Dawn Schroerlucke (David), Paul Horn (Mona), and Chris Horn. A visitation for Mark will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150, followed by a funeral service with military honors at 12:00 PM. Mark will be laid to rest at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
