Marilyn L. Rodgers

Funeral services for Marilyn L. Hogan Rodgers, 79, of Jeffersonville, will be at noon Thursday, April 12, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Monday, April 9, 2012, at her home. She was born June 29, 1932, in Jeffersonville, to the late Donald and Edna Hogan. She was formerly an employee of I.C.I. America, Fetter Brothers Company, and Wyandotte Inc. and she loved bingo, cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include sons, Bob Rodgers and his wife, Tracy, of Jeffersonville, and Bill Rodgers and his wife, Ann, of Marysville; two grandchildren, William Rodgers III and Ryan Rodgers; three brothers, Donald Hogan and his wife, JoAnn, Bill Hogan and his wife Jean, and Mike Hogan and his wife Nancy; and five sisters, Mable McCrander, Wilma Melson, Cathy Casey, Grace Jenkins and her husband Larry, and Mary Robertson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Betty Hogan and Judy Firkins. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
