Lillian "Betty" Ketcham

Lillian "Betty" Ketcham, 95, was called home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2019. Her granddaughter, Misty, was holding her hand to help her cross over. She was born February 2, 1924 in Freeport, New York to Lillian and Charles Schorr. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold, Arthur, and Charles Schorr; and her partner of 25 years, Henry Schmitt.

Betty loved reading, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, baking, and making canvas houses. She was always making sweaters, afghans, and vests for her family. She made several baby blankets to put aside for her future grandchildren to remember her by.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, George Ketcham and his wife Esther and Bill Ketcham and his wife Betty; grandchildren, Misty Ketcham, George Ketcham and his wife Monica, Jim Ketcham and his wife Stacy, Lisa Fuchs and her husband Bill, Jennifer Ketcham and her fiancé Phil Carosone, and Willie Ketcham; great grandchildren, Joey Ketcham, Lindsey Ketcham, Andrea Moore and her husband Hunter, Jack and Keira Fuchs, Spencer Evans and his wife Jessica, and Zachary Evans and his wife Chelsea; great great grandchildren, Caie, Zayden, and Colton; brother, Robert Schorr; sister-in-law, Helen Schorr; and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be 3 pm ~ 8 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11 am Friday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
