Leonard C. "Scotty" Scott

Leonard C. “Scotty” Scott, 83 years of age died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. He was born February 19, 1929 in New Albany, IN to the late Etheal and Pearl Scott. He was an Army Veteran, Baptized into the membership of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, now known as Community of Christ Church and retired as a draftsman from Louisville Gas & Electric after 38 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Jean Scott and Sister Lavon Roberts.

Son: David Charles Scott Dove Creek, Colorado

Daughter: Denise Jean Scott Palm (Ernie) New Albany, IN

Grandchildren: Matthew David Scott, Heather Marie McKellips

Great-grandchildren: Matylin Rose Scott, Sabre Alexander Scott, Liliana G. Scott, William Alexander McKellips, Aubrey McKellips

Companion: Mary Ann Lenfert

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 11:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family or Community of Christ Church, Byrneville Congregation.
