Lawrence "Larry" Plummer Jr.

LAWRENCE "LARRY" PLUMMER, JR., 82, died April 26, 2015. The son of the late Lawrence Plummer, Sr. and Bertha Plummer Fleming, Larry was born March 11, 1933 in New Albany. He had worked for Linkers Bakery, Taystee Bread, Rainbo Bakery, and was plant operator for the NAFC School Corporation. Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Patty Jean Handy, James Plummer, Jerry Plummer, and William Fleming.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary Katherine (Farrell) Plummer; children, Gary N. Plummer, Teresa K. Shireman (Dennis), and Gregory L. Plummer;

sisters, Sherry Stiller (Carl) and Joan Murphy; daughter-in-law, Michelle Plummer; sisters-in-law, Kathy Fleming and Reba Plummer; grandchildren, Chris Shireman, MegAnne Duke, Brian Plummer, and Taylor Plummer; great grandchildren, Graeme Shireman and Madisyn Hieatt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial and military honors to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
