Kay was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. Spending time with her family was the highlight of her life.
She also enjoyed camping and being outdoors and loved watching hummingbirds. Kay will be very missed.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Daugherty; and 2 brothers Virgil Daugherty, and Denny Daugherty.
She leaves behind a loving husband, Larry A. Hanka; their children, Joseph A. Hanka; and Susan Jetter (Frankie); 5 cherished grandchildren, Brooklynn Hanka, Nate Jetter, Kaylynn Jetter, Chloee Zabel, and Jasmine Ehalt; and a brother Donald Daugherty.
A visitation for Kay will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
A funeral service will be on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service with visitation from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Kay will be laid to rest in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
