Laura was a graduate of New Albany High School and retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital in 1990. She was a member of the American Legion in New Albany, and loved playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyndon E. Everbach; her parents, James and Lillie Stewart; and her son James Topping.
Survivors include daughter, Doris Sims; son, Jeff Topping; sister, Barbara Summers (Don); cousin, Jackie Stewart; grandchildren, Melissa Nugent, Chad Stocksdale, Joseph Sims, Ryan Topping and Laurie Deal; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Conner, Phillip and Chevelle .
Visitation will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
