Larry Richard Vetter

Larry Richard Vetter, 73, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022. The son of the late Henry Herman and Lillie B. Keith Vetter, Larry was born October 27, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana. Larry was a 1966 graduate of New Albany High School. He was an architectural draftsman and retired from Michelle, Timperman & Ritz Architects in New Albany. Larry enjoyed the outdoors and fishing, had an eye for photography, was a fine artist, and he loved researching genealogy and the civil war. Most of all, he adored his family - especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his close brother, Alvin Vetter. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacqueline K. Vetter; children, Christopher Vetter, Sarah Vetter Evans (Jason), and Philip Vetter (Bobbie); brothers, Kenneth and Charles Vetter; sister, Debra (Mike Hanson) Vetter Temple; grandchildren, Brittney York, Kayla Hoover(Terry), Eyan Hoover, Eily Vetter, Cora Vetter, Coen Vetter, Jude Vetter, Liam Vetter, Annabelle Keasling, Trevor Keasling, Devin Keasling, and Chelsey Moutoux; and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Penelope, Merrick, Maverick, and Atticus. Visitation will be from 2 pm ~ 7 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 7 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. The Funeral Service will be streamed live on Facebook under Kraft Funeral Service (Charlestown Road). Expressions of sympathy in Larry’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
