Kathy Jackson

Kathy Jackson of Pekin, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. Kathy was born on December 31, 1948 to the late Harold and Regina Mauck. She was the eldest of their children. Her brother Kevin Mauck and two sisters; Tammy and Debbie Mauck also proceeded her in death. Kathy is survived by her son Keith Groth and his wife Kelley as well as her precious grandson Waylon. Waylon loved his Nina and spending time with her every Thursday was the highlight of both of their weeks. Kathy is also survived by her companion David whom helped care for her in recent months. They had plans of camping and fishing expeditions for the summer which Kathy loved to do. Another passion of Kathy's was Karaoke. She and her late husband of 40 years, John Jackson , were wonderful singers and would spend weekends singing. John also proceeded her in death in 2020. Kathy was very involved with her church family at Charity Baptist Church. Kathy never met a stranger and helped whenever and however she could. This is what drew her into her career as a paralegal which she had recently retired from. Her sparkle was not only in her clothes and smile but also from her heart. She loved life and those closest to her knew it.
