Karen L. Merritt Nifong

Karen L. Merritt Nifong, 56, of Georgetown, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on March 29, 1966, to the late Charles and Ann Merritt. Karen owned Karen's Silkscreen and Embroidery.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Rick Ragains and Jim Ragains.

Karen is survived by her husband Dale Nifong Jr.; three sons, Joven Ginkins, Tanner Nifong and Brenden Nifong; one grandson, Maverik Ginkins; siblings, Donald Ragains (Brenda), Steve Ragains (Amanda), Kevin Merritt, Paula Beard (Wayne) and Denny Merritt; mother and father-in-law, Dale and Connie Nifong Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 17, 2022, and 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial to follow in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
