Judy Smith

Judy Smith, 75, of Floyds Knobs, passed away August 7, 2019 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born on May 29, 1944 in Newton, New Jersey to the late Robert William Edmonds and Catherine June Hanold Edmonds. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She and her husband, were longtime owners of Marengo Cave and current owners of Cave Country Canoes. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gordon Lynn Smith Jr.; two daughters, Cindy Palmer (Bill) and Tammy Ochsner (Robert); two grandchildren, Anna and Lucy Palmer; a sister, Carol Miller (John); a brother, Robert Edmonds; and three grand dogs, Rojo, Truck and Oliver. Visitation will be from 12-5 on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road and from 9-10 am on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the church. A service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 10:00 am on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1787 Klerner Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with a luncheon following. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Marengo Cemetery, 220 East Old Water Street, Marengo, Indiana 47140 (additional parking at Marengo Cave) with a reception following at Marengo Cave, Shelter House. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or the National Cave Museum, P.O. Box 250, Park City, Kentucky 42160.
