John T. Winkler

John T. Winkler, age 75, of Greenville, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 in New Albany, Indiana. John was born on January 24, 1947 to the late Bernard "B.J" and Rosemary Winkler. He worked as a tool and mold designer for Jones Machine and Tool in Palmyra Indiana where he had worked since 1997. He also served his country in the United States Navy. John enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Johns family was very important to him. He also loved his dachshund, Snoopy. In addition to his parents John is preceded in death by a brother, Mike Winkler and sister, Susie Winkler. John is Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carolyn S. Winkler; daughters, Rebecca Lynn(Mark) Winkler-Butts and Glenda Winkler; son, Tim (Donna) Winkler; four grandchildren, Dakota, Summer, River and Emily; a brother, Jim Winkler; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In memory of John, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
