John was a native of New Albany, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and an insurance agent with United Life Insurance in Louisville.
Survivors include: wife, Angela "Susie" Dailey; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn Michael and Jean Dailey; grandchildren, Nathen Weldon, Natasha Weldon and Jade Dailey; cousins, Marion Ruth Osburn (Tim); sister, Mart Hutt (Joe); nieces, Abby and Cami Culwell; sister-in-law, Mindy Culwell; father-in-law, Robert Fulks; mother-in-law, Jean Fulks, life-long best friends, The Kahl Family and Randy and Ruthie Fenwick.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kraft Chapel, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
