SSG Jeffrey Scott Thompson, age 40, of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Jeff was born May 2, 1983 and was a native of New Albany, Indiana. He graduated from New Albany High School in 2001 and was 14 year active duty service member with the United States Army. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Clay Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Sofia Rodas Thompson; children, Sophia Thompson and Nicolas Thompson; mother, Kathy Thompson; twin brother, Jason Thompson; and sisters, Amber Wilson (Gary), Amy Mack (Edward).
A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service.
Jeff will be laid to rest with military honors in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
