Janice Smith, age 73, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Christmas, December 25, 2023. Janice was born in New Albany, Indiana to Hoite Raymond Swartz and Esther Ann (Meridith) Swartz. Janice was always the person in the room to help anyone, feed you, cloth you, and make you laugh. You always knew when you left her house she had to give you something.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Swartz Jr.; and sister, Patricia Brooks.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Antoinette and Kizzy Arguinzoni; grandchildren, Anthony, Christian, Bianca, JuNesia, Phelesha, Phillip Jr., and Demetrius; and 12 great grandchildren.
Janice has chosen to give Kraft Funeral Service the honor to perform her cremation.
The family has chosen to have private services.
