Jan L. Clark

Jan L. Clark, 84 of New Albany, Indiana passed away February 9, 2025. He was born on October 19, 1940 in Minden, Nebraska to the late William Wayne Clark and Betty Atherton Usrey. He was a veteran in the United States Navy and was a retired Claims Adjuster and Branch Manager for Farmers Insurance. Jan was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He had many leadership roles and was a deacon in several churches through the years. He loved his family, history, his country and his church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Jon, Jane and Jerry Clark.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Clark; children, Wayne and Maureen Clark, Phillip and Mandi Clark, Janna and Josh McCarty ; grandchildren, Catelyn, Ashlyn, Luke, Aidan, Colin, Ian and Nathan; siblings, Janet Vanderveer, Jim Clark, Zeta Heiter.

A memorial service will be conducted at Oak Park Baptist Church, 1111 Allison Lane, Jeffersonville, Indiana on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 4:00pm.
