James "Jim" Eugene Ridge, age 73, of Georgetown, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Jim was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 5, 1952 to the late Lochel and Doris Breeding Ridge. He was a retired Journeyman with Anderson Woodworking and a veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Destiney Ridge.
Jim is survived by wife of 36 years, Dawn Ridge; four children, James Lee Ridge (Jennifer), Kristie Jo Griffin (Mark), Jamie Lee Ridge (David Riddle) and Forest Lee Ridge; seven grandchildren; four sisters, JoAnn Horn (Dennis), Linda Thine (Bill), Bonnie Meyer (Von) and Debbie Henson (Jerry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation for Jim will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
