Herbert "Herby" Lee Wade

Herbert “Herby” Lee Wade, 73, died Monday, March 11, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was born April 20, 1939 in Scottsburg, Indiana to his late parents, Boyce and Mary Wade. He is also preceded in death by his brother Billy Bob Wade. He was an Army veteran and a member of Graceland Baptist Church. He retired from Clarke American and enjoyed travel, fishing and hunting.

Wife of 51 years 11 months: Loretta R. Wade

Daughter: Debbie Newman (David)

Son: Lee Wade (Sandy)

Brothers: Jim Wade (Adele)

Charles Wade (Jane)

David Wade (Mary)

Sister: Ann Wade Ruddick

Sister-in-law: Mary Lynn Seewer (Doug)

Grandchildren: Rachael Blunk (Bill)

Krystal Wade Snyder

Great Grandchildren: Gabe, Keegan, and Casey

Numerous nieces and nephews and special pet Roxy

Visitation will be from 11:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana and from 9:00am to 11:00am Friday at Graceland Baptist Church, 3600 Kamer Miller Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday at the church with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Cancer Center of Indiana
