Henry Edsel Ford

Henry Edsel Ford, 93 years of age died Thursday, September 15, 2016 at The Villages of Historic Silvercrest in New Albany, Indiana. He was born March 20, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Edgar and Lillie Ford. Henry grew up on a farm in Tompkinsville, Kentucky and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was member of First Church of God in New Albany, Indiana and was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen “Kay” Ford and son-in-law, Steve Reinhardt.

Survivors include his children, Janie Reinhardt, Tony Ford (Nancy); grandchildren, Christopher Reinhardt, Stephanie Reinhardt, Heather Gregory, Jessica Nole; great grandchildren, Maria, McKenna, Taylor, Aubrey, and Dylan.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.

The family requests expressions of sympathy to go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
