Helen B. Reed

Helen B. Reed, 88, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Helen was born August 4, 1933 in Bradford, Indiana to the late Leo and Adeline Schneider Nolot. She was retired from Phillip Morris. She was of the Catholic faith, a member of the Red Hat Society and the Moose Lodge in Lakeland, Florida.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Reed; a son, Terry Lee Reed; a daughter, Karen Lea Arnold; siblings, Clare Hardesty, Cecelia Nolot, Joseph Nolot and Gertrude Cundiff.

Helen is survived by her son, Donnie R. (Gail) Reed; grandchildren, Christy Gilliam, Ashley Philpot; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jayden, Michael, Kamren and Kaden; siblings, Thelma (James) Best, Margaret Cotter, Alda (Harold) Quick and Sharon Nolot; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.

Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
