Georgia M. Roberts

Georgia M. Roberts, 74, of New Albany, Indiana passed away December 6, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born on July 2, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to the late William J. and Laura Davis Taylor. Georgia was retired from the New Albany Floyd County School Corporation and was a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grafton Roberts; and a son, Gene S. Peters. Georgia is survived by three children, Brent Taylor, Eric Roberts and Melinda Roberts; a brother, Samuel Taylor; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with private entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
