George Eddie Sprigler, Jr., 78 years of age passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. He was born March 26, 1942 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late George and Lillian ”Curly” Sprigler, Sr. George retired from Pillsbury after 47 years of service and was the former owner and operator of G & G Radiator in New Albany. He was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, The Jockey Club, and Hoosier Softball Team. He loved racing horses, playing cards, and raising hell. George was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Carroll) Sprigler.
Survivors include his fiancé, Marcella Stumler; children, Dana Becker, Edward Sprigler (Emily), Jason H. Sprigler (Sarah), Debbie Gregory (Steve), Dwayne Stumler (Rhonda), Dean Stumler (Anita), Donna House; grandchildren, David, Jacob, and Benjamin Lapsey, Ty Becker, Caleb, Blair, Ace, Faith, and Dane Sprigler, Knox, Eliza, and Kaptain Sprigler, Alexas, Brennan, Cavanna Gregory, Andrew, Grant, and Avery Stumler, Nevin (Leslie), Kelsey, Clayton, and Calvin Stumler, Brayden and Carson House; sister, Carla Becht (Chuck).
Visitation time is 11:00 am - 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Mass is 11:30 am Friday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow in the St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.
