Frances Marie Lori Pirtle

Funeral Liturgy for Frances Marie Lori Pirtle, 92, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 16, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Wedgewood Healthcare in Clarksville.

She was born Oct. 19, 1919 in New Albany, to the late Michael Edward and Mary Schulte Lori. She was formerly a cook at Holy Family Parish and worked at the old H.A. Seinsheimers. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughters, Donna Pirtle, of New Albany, and Paula Smith and her husband, Robert, of Boonville; four grandchildren, Jon Mason, Jason Proctor, Lori Downs and Nick Smith; 10 great-grandchildren, Duston West Proctor, Elijah Sanders, Skyla and Zackary Downs, Madalyn and Gabriell Smith, Dakoda Saltzman, Ryker Stout, and Dillon and Makenna Blanke; sisters, Roseann Bowman, Freda Jahn, and Jesse Skelton, all of Clarksville; and a brother, Francis H. Lori and his wife, Margaret, of Clarksville.

She was the widow of Hazel Clyde Pirtle and was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Irma Eaton and brother, Melvin E. Lori.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany.
