ELIZABETH J. "BETTY" (GRIMES) HEFLER, 82, died Tuesday, March 4, 2015 at her residence. The daughter of the late Maurice and Thelma Grimes, Betty was born July 12, 1932 in New Albany. Betty was a member of T.O.P.S. and enjoyed going to shows at Derby Dinner Playhouse. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Hefler; son, Steven Hefler; and brother, David Grimes.
Survivors include her sons, Bill Hefler (Linda), Ronald Hefler, Tony Hefler, and Roger Hefler (Becky); sisters, Maureen Monroe, Dorothy Link, and Margie Wolfe; and several grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Sunday and after 9:00 am Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial following in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
