Edna Nicholson

Edna Nicholson, age 81, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Edna was born in New Albany, Indiana to Elmer and Elizabeth (Kost) Scharrer. Edna was a member of New Albany First Assembly of God.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Vernon "Gene" Nicholson, son; Ritchie Nicholson, grandson; Vincent Nicholson, son in laws; Don Miller and Tony McKennon, and her nine siblings.

Edna is survived by her children; Tonya Miller, Rhonda McKennon, and Gary (Dana) Nicholson. Her grandchildren; Brooke (Jason) Schlise, Joshua (Sarah) McKennon, Taylor (Tyler) Philpot, Dylan Nicholson, and Kennedy Nicholson; great grandchildren, Kayla Ballard, Carleigh Schlise, Rhett Philpot, and Gentry Jo Philpot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 30th, from 12:00 to 6:00pm with her service to follow at 6:00pm at Kraft Funeral Service.
