Edna E. (Wall) Beets

Edna E. Beets, 87, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on January 1, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born November 6, 1934 in Selma, North Carolina to the late Edward and Ada Mae Wall. Edna was a member of Tri-County Shrine APET Guild in Clarksville, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in New Albany, and Ladies of the Moose in Sellersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Beets; son, Ed Beets; sister, Anna Ruth Dixon.

Edna is survived by her son, Mike Beets (Katie); sisters, Louise Tucker, Patsy Vann, Lena Mae Hamilton, Betty Lou Wells; grandchildren, Aundrea Reed (Michael), Jordan Beets (Lindsay); great grandchildren, Bella Ettel, Breauna Hutchens, Jillian Reed, and Jack Reed.

A visitation will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, January 7, 2022 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the funeral home chapel with burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
