Dorothy "Dottie" Rose Hunt (Trindeitmar) was born on December 23rd, 1938, to parents Rose and Edward Trindeitmar. She died peacefully on Hospice on March 2nd, 2023, at her daughter's home in New Albany, Indiana. Dottie was often described as beautiful, classy and a "true lady". Her outer beauty was only exceeded by her inner beauty. She never met a stranger, which means she had deep connections with people in all of the places she lived. She moved more times than could be counted which gave her the opportunity to decorate many homes. That was her passion. She had exquisite taste, and her homes were always impeccable. Her family seemed to always call her back home though since that was where her heart resided. Dottie loved Jesus. She found peace and happiness in her salvation and felt called to spread her joy. She said she was excited to meet Jesus. She has been a beloved member of her church communities. Down to earth and extroverted, Dottie could laugh at herself and make others laugh as well. The most profound way Dottie touched the world was with the depth of her love. She loved and wanted to help anyone she met. Her family were very blessed to be loved so fiercely. She is probably in heaven on the beach, catching up with loved ones lost and singing silly songs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Hunt, and sisters Helen Smith and Catherine Trindeitmar.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Cosgrove (Bill) and Thelma Rudolph (Doug); son, Jim Robinson (Tina); daughter, Monica Striegel (Sam); son, Todd Robinson (Amy); two stepdaughters, Kim Hunt Jarmin and Tammy Hunt Jochimsen; granddaughters, Jessica Mitchell (Brett), Heather Robinson, and Staci Striegel-Stikeleather (Donald); grandsons, Jimmy Robinson, Matthew Striegel and Brett Robinson (Kasey), seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
