Dorothea Lee Guinn, age 89, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. Dorothea was born in Nunda, New York on April 26, 1935, to the late Ivan and Myrtle Isaman. She was the co-owner of Dobbs Pastries and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in New Albany where she played the piano and organ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Otha "Dobbs" Guinn; two sons, Gary Guinn and Chris Guinn; and a sister, Cora Mae Simon.
Dorothea is survived by two children, Cindy L. McNutt and Steve W. Guinn; grandchildren, David A. Craig, Christie Guinn (Tori) and Kaci L. Guinn Freeman (Jacob); great grandchildren, Dylan Cain, Cash Guinn, Rylee Guinn, Sparrow Guinn, Oaklynn Guinn, Talon Otha Freeman, Beau Guinn and Layla Guinn; and a brother, Marion Isaman and numerous nieces.
Visitation for Dorothea will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Monday, July 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service. Dorothea will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
