Donald R. "Donnie" Parks

Donald R. “Donnie” Parks, 73 years of age passed away Wednesday March 7, 2018 in New Albany. He was born August 1, 1944 in Richmond, KY to the late Richard and Pauline Parks, and was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, his son Mickey, and his great-grandson Rowan. Donnie was a Navy Veteran, a retired machinist from Navistar and later worked at Wooded View Golf Course in Clarksville, IN. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his children Tammy Rudy (John), Donnie Parks (Blondella), and Holly Norsworthy (Joshua), brothers, David Parks (Kassie), Roy Parks (Bonnie), sister, Sue Sims (Tony), grandchildren, Ricky Theobald (Lauren), Chase Rudy, Webster, Casey, Carter, Courtney, and Donnie, great-grandchildren, Adeline and Amelia Theobald.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday and after 10:00 am Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home chapel with private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
