Donald Lee Abrams

DONALD LEE ABRAMS, 83, died Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Villages of Historic Silvercrest in New Albany. The son of the late Fred and Cleo Abrams, Donald was born June 19, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a U.S. Army veteran, member of Greenville New Hope Baptist Church and American Legion Post 42 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doloras Abrams; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Abrams; and son-in-law, Calvin Hublar.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Doris Atkins Abrams; children, Michael W. Gamble (Sue), Tony Lee Abrams, Leah Corbin (Steve), Sherry Emerson (Steve), Ed Pellman (Debra), Rick Pellman (Angela), Peggy Hublar, Donna Pellman, and Marty Pellman (Sally); brothers, Harold and Herschel Abrams; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Memorial Service will be 7:00 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel.
