Dixie Lori Olson

DIXIE L. (LORI) OLSON, 87, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was born March 22, 1926 in New Albany to the late John and Viola Whitten Lori. Dixie retired from Colgate-Palmolive and was a member of VFW Post #3281 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion #28. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melroy Olson; daughter, Sharon Lori; and siblings, Bud, Ed, Frank, Ruth, Liz and John.

Survivors include her son, Roger Olson and his wife, Pam, of New Albany and numerous nieces and nephews. A very special thank you is extended to Dixie’s niece, Ginny, and her late husband, Mike, for their support and care.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
