Debra J Thomas Hobble

Debra J. (Thomas) Hobble, 54 years of age, died January 23rd, 2014. Debra was born August 30, 1959 in Corydon, Indiana to Lawrence E. and Doris J. (Kime) Thomas. She formerly was employed at the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant in Jeffersonville. Debra will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Thomas, and Stepmother, Eva Thomas.

Survivors include son, Nicholas “Nick” VanWaning and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Nicole VanWaning and Chloe Smith; mother, Doris J. (Kime) Thomas; sisters, Rochelle Thomas, Jeanette Daugherty (Russell); brothers, Robert (April) Thomas, Gary (Melissa) Thomas, and Jerry (Linda) Thomas; several nieces and nephews.

Visistation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday January 29, 2014 at the Kraft Funeral Chapel. Private burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. The family requests expressions of Sympathy to go to the Animal Rescue League & Shelter or Humane Society.
