He thought the rock face below him looked like a moose face so he was doing the same.

Dave thought outside of the box, never thought “it can’t be done”, and brought quirky into any situation. He was an antic waiting to happen. Dave dug out our entire backyard to make a tunnel fort of snow thru 4 ft. of snow in the 70’s. He’d get the whole family to play “Tag”, even Uncle Fred. We’d go to Pirate games, sit in the cheap seats behind Dave Parker in RF and Dave would take off…and be sitting behind home plate. He could talk his way anywhere. He was Dave.  Dave made a difference in every person he interacted with, in soccer, work, church, or life. He was fun and motivating. He made you believe you could do things you didn’t think you could. He was dependable, he was the best brother I could ever ask for. I love him dearly. I am glad I left my blinker on the entire time he followed me through D.C. at nite. : D  We both have each other dog toys for Christmas one year. I’ll miss him, can’t wait to see him. He is with Jesus and our sister Kimmy and we will all be together soon!

Please know that all of us at MCS are praying diligently for all of you. We cherish our memories with your family and are so thankful for the many ways that each of you blessed our school…and in this moment, we remember our dear friend.  Dave was such an important part of who we are and he exemplified who we want to be as a school…passionate, loyal, encouraging, fun, honorable, and true…no matter what.  He made us better people and he made us a better school, and for that, we will forever be grateful.  May the Lord hold your family close and may you know that you are loved.

Dave, you have been the greatest son, compassionate husband and loving strong father.  We are so very proud of who you were and thankful to our Lord for giving you to us.

We are missing you so much already and you will be forever in our hearts. We are so blessed to know you are with Jesus and have joined your little sister, Kimmy Jean, in heaven.

We love you so much Davey. You have always been a rock and source of strength to all of us. Just knowing you were there and we could call on you at any time was a such a comfort and a blessing. 

Rest in the arms of Jesus now with no more pain or suffering.

How could a parent ever forget the story I’m about to share that shows what an extraordinary and unique life  Dave lived.  My boy was struggling with a lot of things in his life and was an IT nerd more than an athlete and fortunately, he was on Dave’s soccer team.  During a game, my son, and another much larger boy we’re going for a ball in the open field.  Both boys found the ball at the same time and the much larger boy ended up on the ground loudly crying for an uncomfortably long period of time.  It shook my boy. Dave pulled my son inside put his arm around him and he walked around with him for quite a while. No penalty was called because none was made. It was a clean play.  Everybody assumed Dave was giving him a gentle lecture, but the reality was just the opposite. Dave was encouraging him and exhorting him as the toughest player on the team.  this was a team of kids who in high school were regulars at the state final four.  I love telling that story and my heart is glad for every memory I have of Dave White.  May the family know Peace and Comfort in the brutal pain of separation

Dave was such a kind and caring soul.  Always happy and smiling and just always nice to talk to. We were blessed to be neighbors and also friends since our youngest boys were friends.  Dave always spoke so highly of our son Aidan and pushed him to always be his best and cheered him on in soccer.  We are deeply saddened by the loss of an amazing man.  Our prayers go out to the family. ❤️

I can't put into words the impact Dave had on these boys and so many others. He loved coaching soccer and was an amazing teacher of the game.

Dave took us to Feast BBQ after church; one of many sweet, sweet memories of the weekend. We love you, Dave.

Oh Pam my heart breaks for you!!  I love your family so much. I’m praying for you asking the Lord to hold you and the boys close. May you KNOW the Lord’s presence as never before. I wish I were there to give you a a big hug and just hold you. Pam, I don’t know how but I KNOW God is always faithful and always good and he will be now!!  With much love and many prayers. ❤️❤️🙏🙏. Pam, I cannot understand the great loss you are experiencing. Your family will always be an example of intentional love and unconditional hospitality. I pray that God sustains you as you lean into his open arms.

Halloween 2021,  the Koorsen office staff dressed up as Dave.  We sat in his office, closed his door, and when he opened it and turned on the lights, we all yelled Happy Halloween!!!  He erupted in a huge roar of laughter and absolutely loved it!!!  I will certainly miss that infectious laugh.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Dave. I am a better man having known Dave for the short time that I did. God bless the family and thank you Dave for your friendship. You will be missed Brother.

Many memories made with Dave coaching our soccer teams, from Appleseed to indoor in Lodi he was always there until we graduated from MCS. His passion for the game of soccer has been instilled in many lives and he will be dearly missed by many that he made a mark on. We will keep all the Whites in our prayers during this difficult time.
