David C. Shepherd, 66 years of age passed away on March 26, 2021 at Baptist Health East Hospital in Louisville. He was born September 3, 1954 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Harry Allen and Bettie Jean (Gresham) Shepherd. David was a member of Southeast Christian Church and along with his parents was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Lone and Nancy Heavrin.
He is survived by his brother, Derek Shepherd (Carol); dear friend, Steve Rector; nieces and nephews, Jordan Harper (Kimberly), Alexandria Pena (Alex), Kristina Shepherd, Gresham Shepherd, Danny Mann (Tracy), David Mann (Taunya), Jennifer Shultz; great niece, Anastasia Pena; great nephew, Shepherd Pena.
The family would like to thanks the staff of Baptist East Hospital ICU for the compassionate care they provided to David.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His graveside service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
