Danny "Dan" Robey, age 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Dan was born on August 2, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Shelton P. Martin and Regina (Flowers) Sondergeld. He was a graduate of the Kentucky Military Institute and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a big fan of the Indiana Hoosiers and the Cincinnati Reds. In his younger years, he loved boating and golf.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kathleen "Kathy" (Hopewell) Robey; his daughter, Stacy Robey and his son, Joshua (Kristi) Robey; Grandchildren, Justice (Dylan Raatz) Robey, Mariah Smith, Scarlett Robey, and Maddox Robey; and Great Grandchildren, Aurora and Karlee.
Dan's family is planning a Celebration of Life for a later date; the place and time will be updated on his obituary for his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks for donations in Dan's honor to please be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
